bring back classic N-Gage games: Sonic, Rayman, Tony Hawk's under review
bring back classic N-Gage games like Sonic, Rayman, Tony Hawk's. These games provided quality, fast-paced graphics & game play that the next generation N-Gage game cannot compare with. The devices are so much more powerful, but the games are far less involving or capable.
We love this idea, but this is a publisher decision if they want to bring these classic N-Gage games back to our new platform. We will certainly pass on your interest in these titles to Nokia games publishing

Well, I already played Tony Hawk on the former N-Gage (which looked like an elephants ear) and it was the best game yet. Sonic was also available for n-gage, and so I wonder, why you can't publish this games for the "new" n.gage?!? You already have had the rights and it should be no problem to get them again, am I right?
Especially Jump n Runs and adventures are needed, I think- iamx

Nokia published several of the games to the original N-Gage, and I don't think it would be too hard to publish them again.
N-Gage.com had this poll recently (involving Rifts which I voted for)

The Rifts were the best! But, Nokia won`t rerelease these games, because, as someone already said, these games do not belong to Nokia. I suggest you to go and buy an old N-gage :D Or play sega megadrive&gameboy emulators on your phones, cause there are more good games on them, than on the both N-gages. Not counting the graphics, but i don`t care for it.

Nokia have been in negotiations with many third party publishers including Sega, Square Enix, Activision, Disney, even Sony.
But most publishers won't touch N-Gage until it has a larger userbase, and that won't happen until the N-Gage app is embedded in the firmware of new phones straight out of the box.
Publishers want userbase, that's all that matters to them in a platform.

Ik_clip, pirates didn't do those ports.
They are official games that should to be bought! But you obviously didn't do that -_-Pandemonium, for example, was ported by Ideaworks3D, and not some pirates.

I loved The Rifts from first n-gage a lot, and i really wanna to see this game on new n-gage. And why don't port it ? Pirates made a ports of SSX, TH and Pandemonium for Symbian UIQ3. So why developers can't do it ?=)

Now this is something that I truly do hope that you're planning on doing, Nokia. You've got so many astonishing titles that should be ported from the old N-Gage that I just can't believe you haven't already thought of doing so. Hopefully it won't take too long before we see sequels to Rifts, Settlers, Pocket Kingdom, Civilization and Pathway to Glory first and foremost (not just my opinion).

It's oblivious to me, why all the past N-cage titles are not supported by the current symbian platform, shouldn't nokia still have the rights to publish these games!

While Nokia isn't the developer behind those two games I suggested, I think Nokia should at least make a business contact with them and try to persuade them into making remakes.

Bringing back PtG should be a no brainer, classic game and as NGage starts be appear in more & more phones there would be a whole new market that wouldn't have played it the first time around. I would happily play PtG & PtG:IIslands again, both superb!

Nokia has tried to influence them, in official webchats Nokia said on several occasions they were in negotiations with Sega over a PK2, but the game never appeared.
First party original gen games are a totally different situation though. Nokia has full control over those, so it might be better to make a suggestion listing those titles. For example bringing back PTG should be completely possible.

Those games aren't in Nokia's control, they're owned by Sega, Ubisoft and Activision respectively. It's up to those publishers if they want to release games on N-Gage.
