@wingk1314, it would be perfectly possible if the games used Wi-Fi connections. The same thing PSP and NDS are doing. So don't even bring up 3G/GPRS being slow when Wi-Fi is like 10-20 times faster and it's more accessible. In fact, with Wi-Fi speeds, we can even play games with really good graphics including the hardware accelerated games that are planned.

As much as I'd love this to happen. Realistically I could only foresee BT enabled multiply in more games in the near future. 3G/GPRS is slow. Even if the transfer speeds are good, the ping is too high. Until mobile internet gets improved, the only kind of true online games that'll come out will most likely be turn based ones like Worms. Of course, there's wifi, but that's not always available too.

Agree! We do need goos multiplayer games. We also need the freedom to choose the level of activity we want to N-Gage in. I don't believe it should the rome of the platform to dictate what type of games should be on it but to enable any kind of games on it. We as users should quide the publishers by our vote (purchases).

Symbian OS need to be optimized for networking with the currently cheap wifi chips into our mobiles and the way things going on i would be happy if the scoring/point system works till the end of this year!

It's very good idia. I remember times when i played with friends in first Asphalt on my N-Gage QD, and that was great ! And now i really love multiplayer playng in SR:Evolution. It will be very good if much more games will have multiplayer mode.

Just bring it to us when you're ready for it - we all know that it's coming, and we've already got Reset Generation to prove that :) In time I'm sure we'll bathe in real-time multiplayer games which supports either bluetooth, WiFi or both.
It's just a matter of time, the developers just needs to become confident in how the application and their tools before they can start spewing out online games.

Thinking about it, I suppose you could actually do competitive real time multiplayer solitaire/patience: the same cards could be dealt to both players and they race to finish first.

I totally agree! I wont to play Fifa (maybe 09) with my friends! I wont to play ONE with b-t and ARENA mode! I wont to play midnight pool with b-t and arena mode! I wont to play worms with B-T mode! I wont race in multiplayer via arena and b-t in asphalt! Multiplayer mode is fantastic! But i don't understand why so many games exist without this option! :( PLEASE NOKIA DO SOMETHING WITH THIS!PLEASE

Lol.. it should not have been allowed to be released on N-Gage in the first place. More seriously though, EVEN solitaire could be played as cooperative effort online with two people - say e.g. father and son, or husband and wife when they are far apart from each other. ;)

I so much want this. This enables me to play game even when m not online. We dont have 3G services here and GPRS isnt any good. If the games have BT, it gives me another reason to buy it.

Agree. NO GAME should be allowed to be released with only online ranking. Some form of online feature, preferably play whenever feasible, should be a mandatory requirement for each game. For example, there is absolutely no excuse, I would assume, to not have online game in the pool game if it can be done with Golf. Or in card or board games.
