Stop ports with no differences from java games declined

Stop gameloft @ E.A porting us rubbish games with no difference from the java or the standard s60 games of the same name
we are paying treble the price for the games b/c they have been branded N-gage and there is no difference from the non n-gage version's except achievment's added which does not cause the game to trble in cost by 3X

As our platform matures and publishers get more experienced and creative with our technology we are sure that our game catalogue will include a wider variety of N-Gage native titles. It is also worth mentioning that some games that are created for N-Gage are then ported to other platforms. There is no specific action we can take on this at this time, but we appreciate the feedback.

Ports can be a good thing, I mean we do get SOME upgrades such as achievements, N-Gage points, and possibly some Arena compatibility - be it true mutliplayer or just rankings.
But yeah - a port that is NO different from its original release is lame and disappointing.

If you look at the next gen N-Gage sales charts, they're full of Gameloft and EA ports from Java and S60, and have been since the charts started. There are also some good games from Nokia (like Creatures Of The Deep and Pro Series Golf) but the lazy ports seem to be selling just as well.

If people keep buying ports, publishers will keep releasing them. It's the same on every gaming platform.

Ik_Clip : You should ask about their HD games and N-Gage games

For me i feel like they are scared from piracy, so do other companies

Companies like gameloft just trying to get more money for now... They were making great games for first n-gage... But now... Is there any diffrences of java in their games except music and sounds ?

Final Fantasy would be great , but i already heard there would be a new FF for Symbian (none N-Gage)

PS1 have some excellent games I wouldn't mind seeing on the N-Gage at all. Suikoden, Final Fantasy, or the Klonoa platform game.

The best way to stop publishers releasing lazy ports is not to buy them, that's the only language that companies understand.
