But it really limits towards what the developers can develop! Maybe not many developers were using 3d HW but the reason is because not every handset has 3d HW. You need to start producing phones all with some sort of 3d HW, this is the only way to move forwards into gaming and better use of 3D hw. Since only N93,N95,N82,E90 had 3d HW, that is not really a large enough incentive for developers to code for 3d HW. But if you include 3d HW in all phones, so developers need a central API for 3D SW and HW development. They need something that will give them 3D SW mode whilst the same API will take advantage of 3D HW when available.... this is how we can get better games in the future. Since 5800XM and N97 are higher resolution platforms its even more necessary to make phones with 3d HW. Nokia you keep disappointing us! How will ngage succeed without 3d? you will hit a day when people will ask for this, why not start early and include it in every ngage phone....?
